Open and edit a PSD on a phone or tablet
The Editor opens PSDs with their layers in a phone or tablet browser. How to get the file in, what the phone layout gives you, what to expect from memory on big files, and how to send the result.

Steps
- If the PSD arrived by email or chat, save it to Files (iPhone) or Downloads (Android) first.
- Open voidcanvas.app/editor. Tap Open a photo and pick the PSD.
- Read the Opened report if one appears: it lists what was kept and what became pixels.
- Tap Layers (top right) to see the stack; tap a layer to select it, drag to move, drag a handle to resize. Pinch to zoom, two-finger drag to pan, two-finger tap to undo.
- To send it, tap Share: Share PNG, JPG or PDF open the phone's share sheet.

Can I just view a PSD on my phone?
Yes: open it in the Editor and look, without changing anything. Or export a PNG to keep a flat preview in your photos.
Why is my big PSD slow on the phone?
Every layer is held in memory. Layers are capped at 4096 px, but a PSD with many large layers still needs a lot. Use a tablet or a computer for heavy files.
