Open a PSD file online, free, without an account
Drop the PSD on the Editor and it opens with its layers, in the browser, with no account and no upload. What you see, what to check first, and how to get a PNG, JPG or PDF out.

Open it
- Go to the Editor. On the start screen, drop the PSD onto Open a photo, or drag it onto an open design, or press Ctrl+O (Cmd+O on a Mac).
- Wait a moment for large files. Layers appear in the Layers panel in their original order, with groups, masks, opacity and blend modes.
- If a report titled Opened appears, read it: it lists what was Kept, what was Changed so it would open (smart objects and vector shapes become pixels, text with mixed styles becomes pixels) and what is Not supported yet.
- If Some fonts are missing appears, pick a replacement for each font, keep a stand-in, or press Add font file to load the real one from your computer.

Limits, stated plainly
- Layers larger than 4096 px on the long side are scaled to 4096 px.
- Smart objects and vector shapes arrive as pixels. Warped text, text on a path and text with mixed styles arrive as pixels.
- A few blend modes (linear burn, linear dodge, vivid light, pin light, dissolve) use the nearest match. 16-bit files open as 8-bit.
- No PSD export. Deliver PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF; keep layers in a .void file.
How Voidcanvas handles this

Is it really free with no account?
Yes. The Editor runs in the browser with no sign-up. An optional account exists for encrypted sync between devices; opening and editing a PSD does not need it.
Is my PSD uploaded?
No. The file is read in your browser and never leaves your device. You can open it with the Wi-Fi off.
Can I convert PSD to PNG here?
Yes: open the PSD, press Ctrl+E, choose PNG, Download. Hide layers first if you want only some of them.
Does it work on a Chromebook or a phone?
Chromebook, yes, with the full Editor. Phones get the phone Editor; a large PSD may be slow on a phone, and the 4096 px cap applies.
