Share brands and Studio jobs with your team

A team shares client brands and Studio jobs between the people you work with. You need an account on each device. What a team shares is encrypted on your device with the team's key before it is sent; Voidcanvas stores only what it cannot read.

Making a team#

Open Edit, Account and sync…. Under Teams, type a name and choose Create a team. You are its owner.

Inviting people#

Open the team, enter the person's email, pick Editor or Reviewer (free), and choose Make invite link. Copy the link and send it to them yourself. It works once, only for that email address, for 7 days. Choose Withdraw to cancel it.

They open the link, sign in with that email address (or make an account), and join as soon as their device is ready. They can also paste the link under Teams, Join.

Sharing a brand or a job#

In Studio, open a client brand or a job. Next to its name, the Shared with menu reads Only me. Pick the team. Synced appears when the team has the latest version. Logos, references and versions travel with it.

Changes reach the others within about 20 seconds while Studio is open. If two people change the same item at the same moment, the team's version appears beside yours as (their version), so nothing is lost; keep the one you want and delete the other.

Choose Only me to take an item out of the team. It stays on your device and disappears from the others' devices.

Removing someone#

Owners choose Remove next to a member. The team key is replaced straight away, so nothing shared from then on can be opened by them. They keep whatever was already on their devices.

Leaving or deleting a team#

Members choose Leave team. Owners choose Delete team, which removes everything shared in it for every member; copies on their devices stay.
